Upon arrival in Manali, check in at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Take a relaxed stroll on the streets of Manali to soak in the old-world charm of this picturesque resort town. The town is also home to an eclectic range of cafes. Enjoy a hot cuppa at one of the cafes and just feel part of the place. Also get prepared for the adventurous trip that lies ahead and do your final checklist. 

Overnight stay in Manali. 

Start early and head towards Kaza, home to beautiful majestic mountains, crystal clear rivers, streams and unique landscapes. On your way to Kaza, you will cross Kunzum Pass, a high mountain pass in the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas, that connects Lahaul valley and Spiti valley. 

You will also cross the Bada Darra and Chhota Darra. Darras are seasonal streams that are formed as a result of snow melting, glaciers or rainfalls. 

Reach Kaza by evening. Overnight stay in Kaza. 

After breakfast, leave for Pin, a gorgeous valley well known for its famous wildlife reserve. The valley is formed by River Pin and offers a strikingly different ecosystem from that of Spiti. The view as you see the landscape that was barren in Kaza, getting greener towards the Pin Valley is truly euphoric. 

You will also cross Mud (or Mudh), the last village of the Indo-Tibetan border that is connected by a motorable road. This pretty hamlet is no less than a dream. Its picturesque beauty, unimaginable charm and serene vibes will enlighten your mind and soothe your senses. There are several short hikes and walks that you can do through this village. There is also a multi-day trek to Pin Parvati from here. You can also do that, by adding 7 more days to your itinerary. 

Return to Kaza in the evening after a lovely day. 

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and get all geared up to explore the beautiful town of Kaza. Visit the famous places like Key Gompa Monastery, nestled between the mountains in a bowl shape, in a small village called Langza of Spiti. The village is also considered to be one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road. You will also see Komic, the highest village in the world with motorable roads. Visit to Komic which literally means “eye of a snowcock” will be one off your bucket list. 

Also visit Hikkim, another beautiful village in the Spiti District, close To Kaza. This also happens to be one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in India. 

Overnight Stay at the hotel in Kaza. 

Head towards ChandraTal early in the morning, after breakfast. On your way, enjoy a quick stop at Losar Village, the last village in Spiti Valley. Also, pay your respects to Kumzum Mata at Kunzum. 

The car will stop 5 km before ChandraTal as the lake is a protected area. Enjoy the hike from here to ChandraTal. You will be awe-struck with the unparalleled beauty of ChandraTal amidst the mountain range. Also called “The Moon Lake” it beautifully changes its appearance with every passing hour and is indeed a photographer’s dream. 

 Spend the night camping. The tents are set up to protect you from cold night winds. In case the communal fireplace is burning, make use of that to warm up and interact with fellow travelers. 

Enjoy a lovely breakfast in the lap of nature and leave for Manali to reach Manali by late afternoon.

The transportation during this trip will be provided based on the group size and the vehicle selected as per your choice . The available options are Tempo Traveller/Toyota Innova/Mahindra Xylo/Scorpio. Since Ladakh is a rough terrain, only the vehicles with high ground clearance are used here.

There is really no age and weight limit for Ladakh as long as there is no medical history or condition involved. Please consult your doctor before visiting the trip

The accommodations will be provided in standard hotels/ guest houses and camps on Single/twin/ triple sharing basis of your selection.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the trip from Dinner on Day 01 to Breakfast on Day 06

• The local permits required will be arranged by our vendor partner however A valid Id proof & address proof, the booking voucher along with your declaration form is required.

The best and fastest way to reach Leh is by getting a direct flight from Delhi to Leh. The duration for the same is 1 hr and 15 mins.

If participants are unable to or refuse to go through with the experience at site, no refund will be applicable. In order to cause inconvenience to the other travellers, the expedition will continue in such case and participant will have to make their own arrangements, if they continue their stay.

The payment policy is “100% at booking

In case of extreme bad weather, government restriction or political disturbance, if any activity is cancelled; then the operator will suggest the best possible alternative. However, a cash refund is not applicable. In case of a change in itinerary due to weather, any additional expenses must be borne by the traveler.

This trip is the best way to explore Leh Ladakh with family and friends without the hardships of riding on your own. You can easily enjoy this trip with ample time for sightseeing. Thus it is a very easy trip to enjoy.

Each day you will be taking a drive for 4-5 hours and enjoying the surreal beauty of leh in all its glory.

You can enjoy river rafting, camping, double humped camel ride and ATV rides during this trip at your expense. It is not a part of the package but can be customized as per the traveller’s request.

If you are visiting during the summer season, the initial months will let you see the snow on the trails that is melting from the mountains. During monsoon season, there might be sudden showers but not snow.

• AMS or Acute Mountain Sickness is caused by the quick exposure to low oxygen levels at high altitude. Symptoms of AMS include nausea, fatigue, rapid heart rate and headache to name a few. 
• In case of any symptoms, please inform your tour marshal immediately, if there is any discomfort and oxygen levels drop, Backup oxygen cylinder is provided as an immediate relief and the customer is taken to the nearest hospital and moved to a lower altitude region. Once you are feeling better and the doctor has approved your movement, you will be allowed to resume the trip or sent home. 

Any changes in your schedule pertaining to airlines or transportation will result in a change in the entire itinerary. The operator will suggest the best alternative possible in this case. However, a refund for any missed inclusions will not be provided and any extra cost incurred to rearrange the itinerary will be borne by the traveller.
